To get a concrete idea of how multi-culturalism is lived in Subotica, we interviewed several persons living there. We have tried to make the selection as diverse as possible, including people from different national communities, speaking various languages, of various age...
Keeping in mind the fact that it does not aim at being representative of Subotica's inhabitants' opinion - although it gives keys of comprehension and an opportunity to hear voices that are not usually in the spotlight. Click on the list below to watch the interviews: |

The types of questions usually being asked are the following:
- What is your current occupation?
- Which language do you speak and/or understand? How do you use them? How did you learn them? Which one would you like to pass on your children?
- What is your family background/what are the origins of your family?
- Do you feel like belonging to a specific national community? Do you meet often people from other national communities in Subotica?
- According to you, how did the past historical events influence relationships between national communities in Subotica?
- Do you think there are a lot of interactions between national communities? Is it improving or getting worse? Do you have any idea on how to improve it?
